Inviting international students, who are willing to study for undergraduate and post-graduate degrees in Turkey, to apply for Türkiye Scholarships program as from January 15, 2019, Abdullah Eren, President of the Presidency for Turks Abroad and Related Communities (YTB), conveyed his best wishes to applicants in the application process.

Underlining that Turkiye Scholarships program has been given since 2011, Eren stated that the number of applications from all corners of the earth for the program has been increasing steadily every year.

Reiterating that there are universities, which give high-level education both in English and Turkish in Turkey, Eren said, “The employment rate for graduates of universities in Turkey is really high. Considering especially the countries near Turkey, we evidently see that those who come to Turkey, study with scholarship opportunities provided by our state and then go back to their countries, have been occupying high-ranking positions in different sectors since 1992.”

Eren argued that the tendency towards applying for Turkiye Scholarships program will increase, as Turkey has been a rising country in the international arena in recent years. Stating that they have received over a hundred thousand scholarship applications in previous years, Eren said, “We would like to see an increase in the number of applications, as well as the rising number of qualified students.”
