Pointing out that the organization has organized numerous events both abroad and, in the country,, Abdullah Eren, President of the Presidency for Turks Abroad and Related Communities (YTB) said: "as YTB, we strive for benefiting from the blessings of Ramadan."

Abdullah Eren, President of the Presidency for Turks Abroad and Related Communities (YTB) touched upon the organization's activities abroad and delivered a message to the citizens living abroad.

YTB President Eren underscored that Ramadan month is a sacred month where they can expand their services to more wider areas as it is in the Islamic world and offer services in a more productive way. Noting that they will organize "Fast Breaking Dinners for Geography of Hearts" during the whole month for the international students coming from all corners of the world to study in Ankara, Eren added "we are organizing these Ramadan events for our international students in Turkey and Ankara whose families, mothers and countries entrusted them to us. These iftar dinners for Geography of Hearts will last for 30 days and provide meals for 250 people in Ankara University of Social Sciences in Ankara. In these events, each day is devoted to a country from the geography of hearts.  Following the fast-breaking dinner, international students organize their own activities.  We desire to left no hungry students when they are fasting for the whole day in the Ramadan month."

President Eren stressed that they also held various dinner events both throughout the geography of hearts and the countries where Turkish citizens live.  "After our meetings in Al-Bab, Azaz, and al-Rai, we hosted an iftar dinner in the culture center built in in the memory of Afrin Marty Musa Özalkan in al-Rai. The dinner saw the participation of Turkmens, Arabs, other related communities and orphans."

"WE WILL HOST IFTARS WITH HIGH PARTICIPATION"

Emphasizing that YTB will also hold fast-breaking dinners in the Balkans, Eren said that "We will offer fast-breaking dinners in Macedonia, Kosovo, and in Western Thrace region of Greece, my hometown." Eren underlined that Turkish art and culture will be promoted in the dinner events where Hacivat-Karagöz shadow theatre and other theatres will be organized for children. He added that he will especially participate in each program.  "We will organize large-scale fast-breaking dinners and iftar activities in Europe, Germany, the Netherlands, Sweden, and Norway which I will also participate in," Eren stated, stressing that there are also numerous iftar programs where he cannot participate but supported as YTB.  He indicated that they will also offer an iftar program in Somalia for YTB graduates to attend.

Pointing out that the organization organizes suhurs in addition to iftar meals, Eren said "I visit dorms of our international students as a part of our suhur programs.  We previously organized suhurs with students of middle school and high school at Imam Hatip Schools."

“WE WILL COMMEMORATE DEPORTATION OF THE CRIMEAN TATARS”

In relation to their commemoration program for the 75th anniversary of the deportation of the Crimean Tatars, Eren added: "We will organize a commemoration program next week on the occasion of the 75th anniversary of the deportation of the Crimean Tatars. Turkic Council Presidents, Ministers, and our Crimean Tatar brothers and sisters will also participate in this event. We will also hold an iftar dinner in the evening on the same day."
