“European-Turkish Media Summit” was held in Essen, Germany with the support of the Presidency for Turks Abroad and Related Communities (YTB).

"European-Turkish Media Summit" was organized in Essen, Germany by the European Union of Turkish Press-Journalists Association (ATBYGB) with the support of the Presidency for Turks Abroad and Related Communities (YTB). Numerous journalists coming from various European countries took part in the meeting where hurdles faced by Turkish media agencies and media members were discussed.

ATBYGB President Alipaşa Akbaş said that in this summit they aimed to draw attention to the problems encountered by Turkish press members working under difficult conditions in Europe.

At the end of the summit, journalists who were deemed to be successful in their fields received awards.
