“Festival of Goodness” was organized in 8 districts in TRNC by the Presidency for Turks Abroad and Related Communities (YTB) in cooperation with Cyprus Evkaf Administration.

YTB President Abdullah Eren visited TRNC for the festival. Stating that they began meeting Cypriots on the occasion of the Festival of Goodness in 8 provinces of Cyprus with the motto “Plant a Seed for Goodness”, he noted that various entertaining programs started in Famagusta with an intensive interest of everyone of all ages. Eren invited all Cypriots to the festival to meet under the motto #PlantASeedForGoodness.

TRT Kids channel’s popular cartoon Rafadan Tayfa characters meet little Cypriots under the program while famous clarinet virtuoso Hüsnü Şenlendirici brings a feast of music with his work to the audience.

Concerts, dance shows, aerobatics performances, digital games, and TRT Kids’ popular cartoon Rafadan Tayfa events will meet the audience during the festival.

In the first of the Festival of Goodness which was held at Namık Kemal Square in Famagusta, little Cypriots had a blast with Rafadan Tayfa. Clarinet virtuoso Hüsnü Şenlendirici brought a feast of music to the audience while the aerobatics performances attracted great attention. Children attending the festival were also presented “goodness seeds” and “goodness picture book” consisting of the pictures drawn by elementary school students during Rafadan Tayfa Cinema Days held in last January. The second festival took place in Beyarmudu Cultural Center’s Parking Lot.

FESTIVAL SCHEDULE

The free public festival will continue as follows: April 15, near Nicosia Gönyeli Municipality; April 16, Pier coastline; April 17, Yenierenköy High School’s garden; April 18, Güzelyurt St. Mamas Monastery Yard; April 19, Alsancak Yusuf Erol Sports Complex Festival Area; April 20, Kyrenia Amphitheatre. All festival events will start at 17.00.
