The Presidency for Turks Abroad and Related Communities (YTB) Türkiye scholarship recipients and their families attended the program of the presidency organized in its Hamamönünü Office on the occasion of 23 April National Sovereignty and Children's Day. The event saw numerous games and various activities. Speaking in the event, YTB President Abdullah Eren underscored that children coming from all corners of the world constitute the richness of Turkey.

Continuing his remarks, YTB President said:

"The richness of Turkey lies here where children all around the world have gathered. I celebrate your 23 April National Sovereignty and Children's Day. We will stand by you in the face of any trouble or a challenge. 23 April National Sovereignty and Children's Day is a festival that has been celebrated in Turkey since 1923. It's a special festival for children. We wanted to organize an event for you in our Hamamönü Office. I hope it has served a good purpose and would become an unforgettable day for you and your children.”

"We want to increase the amount of scholarship"

Pointing out that they want to increase the amount of scholarship provided for the students, Eren stated that "in the next year, we not only want to increase the amount of the scholarships but also offer financial aid for married recipients to support their accommodation. I hope to achieve this target as well."

Wishing success to foreign students studying in Turkey, Eren said: "You are here with the scholarship of the Republic of Turkey. However, apart from the scholarship, we are ready to help you in all your problems. I hope that God will grant you success in your doctoral and master studies and you can complete your studies in a short time."
