IN THE SERVICE OF OUR CITIZENS ABROAD

In his speech in the program, stating that they will keep on fighting against the increasing events of racism, xenophobia and Islamophobia in Europe, Abdullah Eren, President of YTB, said: “In these countries, we have issues such as Islamophobia, racism and institutional racism. We are facing growing amount of issues due to Europe’s own identity crises. As YTB, we are combatting against these issues within a larger framework. In issues such as law and human rights, we support both the individual cases and organize meetings between legists. Along with these, in the first six months of 2020, we will try to ensure that regulations are made in a way that will benefit our citizens abroad. YTB is an institution that is closely acquainted with your demands. YTB is always in the service of our citizens abroad. This year, we have implemented many regulations to facilitate the entrance of our citizens to Turkey both at Kapıkule Border Gate and in Serbia. During the entrance to Serbia, our citizens were greeted by Turkish police, and our YTB personnel served our citizens on the homeland route. In the coming years, we shall spread this activity to other countries.
