Abdullah Eren, President of the Presidency for Turks Abroad and Related Communities (YTB), held contacts during his visit to Germany, where he went for study visits.

Meeting with Turkish NGO representatives, Turkish citizens living abroad and press members, President Eren informed the attendees on the YTB’s activities.
President Eren visited Germany to attend a program, namely, the “Common Capacity Building Training Program for the Turkish Speaking Diaspora NGO Representatives,” hosted by the YTB. Eren also carried out various contacts as part of his working visit to Germany.
As part of his visit to Berlin, Eren also paid a visit to the Martyrs’ Cemetery Mosque and Cultural Centre, which is regarded as the spiritual centre for the Turkish and Muslim community in the region. Eren also received information about the cultural centre from the mosque officials. 
President Eren was hosted by Ahmet Yazıcı, a member of the first generation of immigrants to Germany. Ahmet Yazıcı, the father of 8 children and the grandfather of 16 grandchildren who has worked round the clock for the construction of the first mosque in Berlin, shared his memories and photos of the first years of his immigration and showed his van that he called “veteran”.
