Turkıc Speaking Diaspora NGOs In Germany Come Together For The First Time

The Capacity Building Training Program, which was hosted by the Presidency for Turks Abroad and Related Communities (YTB) and coordinated by the Cooperation Council of Turkic Speaking States (Turkic Council), was the first event where the Turkic Speaking diaspora NGOs of Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan and Turkey in Germany came together in Berlin, Germany to make presentations on their respective activity areas and discuss ways to enhance sustainable cooperation and coordination among themselves. They exchanged views on the future course of action among the Turkic Speaking diaspora NGOs in Germany and agreed to organise joint cultural, educational and sportive activities to deepen their ties.

Speaking at the event, President of the Presidency of Turks Abroad and Related Communities Abdullah Eren pointed out that they became happy with the success achieved by the Turkish people living abroad and they suffered the deepest sorrow due to their smallest problem. "Our duty is to produce all kinds of solutions to solve the problems of our citizens living abroad, remediate their grievances, ease their homesickness and increase their welfare and quality of life,” Eren said. Stating that it is very important for Turks to contribute to countries where they live in, Eren stressed that it was very crucial to act with NGOs, which were established by Turks living in Germany.

The meeting was attended by Secretary General of the Turkic Council Baghdad Ameyev, Secretary General of TÜRKSOY Düsen Kaseinov, Ambassador of Azerbaijan Ramin Hasanov, Ambassador of Kazakhstan Bolat Nussapov, Ambassador of Kyrgyzstan Erines Otorbaev, Ambassador of Turkey Ali Kemal Aydın, officials from the central diaspora institutions of the Member States, as well as the representatives of various diaspora NGOs of the Member States in Germany.
