Turks Abroad and Related Communities President (YTB) Abdullah Eren said "As a corporation, we increase the number of projects, budget and interest in our country in 2019. We are opening a separate page to the United States as YTB".

YTB President Eren, who had contacts in the US, told the Anadolu Agency correspondent about both the mission of YTB and its new targets on the US scale.

Eren, expressing that YTB 's aim is to bring services to Turks living in 7 continents and relatives of the society, said "In the process of the organization, we had a motto 'We are where there is a Turk'. In fact, it is necessary to repeat it today".

Eren stated that the service area of YTB is concretized on three bonds and the first bond is "citizenship bond", the second bond "cultural bond" and the third bond "empathic bond".

"We send volunteers of Turkey to all over the world"

Eren, stating that, No matter where in the world the Turkish citizens are, they find the international students coming to Turkey with scholarships and people having cultural ties and relative communities, said "we send the volunteer envoys of Turkey to all over the worlds via international students."

Eren, indicating that there are around 6 million Turks living abroad, evaluated the situation by saying "Turkish citizens living in different countries, maintaining their ties with their country, maintaining their culture and identities and the Turkish culture is one of our most important priorities."

"We perform a duty towards Turkey's 2023 vision"

Eren, emhasizing that Turkey is a growing country and had significant changes in its foreign policy in the last 15 years, said "There are many instruments and institutions to support this framework and Turkey's foreign policy. YTB is one of these institutions. We perform a duty towards Turkey's 2023 vision".

Eren, expressing that it was their first time in the US as YTB President, stated that there is a large number of Turks living in this region and he saw the exclusive situation of them.

"Interest in the US will increase"

"In 2019, we increase the number of projects and the budget, as well as our interest in the US as an institution. We are opening a separate page to the United States as YTB. In 2019, we are expanding the parenthesis that we have allocated to the US" said Eren, who also stated that they will increase their support for the associations, foundations and institutions established by the Turks in the USA.

Eren, expressing that Turkish associations in the United States expect more efforts by Turkish children living in the country to teach their mother tongue, emphasized that the support of YTB will be increased.

Eren, who expressed their support for Turkish culture-themed festivals throughout the United States, also said that they would continue to support the activities under the leadership of the embassy and consulate general.

"Turks in the United States are sensitive to FETO"

Eren, mentioning about the structuring of Fetullah Terrorist Organization (FETÖ) in the United States, stated that the Turkish groups in the United States had completely broken their ties with this organization.

"They (Turks living in the US) know that this struggle, whatever political opinion, is a struggle to be given by everyone. I've seen this sensitivity in all Turkish NGOs and citizen meetings in the United States" said Eren and mentioned that they are happy with this situation.

"I am very excited about projects for young people"

Eren said "I am very excited about projects for young people. The youth are very important for us and we have a lot of projects for them" and told the youth about the projects of YTB for them.

Eren, saying that the youth have more severe connections while living in the Diaspora compared to the parents, indicated that every project for the youth is very valuable to them.
