Our President Abdullah Eren made the opening ceremony of the reading house at Mevlana Mosque which within "Anatolian Reading Houses" project in New York. New York Religious Services Attaché Sinan Dedeler and Eren, who joined the Turkish Friday prayers in Long Island, then attended the opening ceremony and gave information about the contacts in the United States. Eren stated that they support Mevlana Mosque and one of the works within this project is a bilingual kindergarten, and said "We know that our children living abroad can learn English, German and French very well when they cannot learn Turkish. Because the mind goes through the native language regardless of what it is. They learn only the language of the country, then have difficulty learning Turkish". Eren stated that the reading house was opened within "Anatolian Reading House" project and said "There will be 1001 books here when the missing ones are completed. Our target is to open 1001 similar reading houses by 2023".
Pointing out that YTB will continue its support in the USA and other countries where Turks live, Eren said that the support of Turks abroad is also important.
Religious Affairs Attaché Dedeler gave a plaque to Eren on behalf of NGOs. Then Eren had lunch with the citizens.
