Abdullah Eren, the President for Turks Abroad and Related Communities (YTB) met the international students who are granted the right to receive higher education in our country under Türkiye Scholarships Program and who continue their education in Turkish teaching centers. President Eren started his speech by congratulating the students for their success to be granted with Türkiye Scholarships after competing against tens of thousands of applicants from all over the world. Answering the questions addressed by the international students about their education in Turkey, Eren stated that YTB’s doors are always open to them.

Saying that YTB organizes International Student Academy to contribute to the education life of international students, President Eren also noted that such programs are of great importance as they help the international students learn Turkish language and get to know more about Turkish culture. Further, President Eren said:

“While here, you will introduce the culture of your own countries to the Turkish people. You all have come from different countries. It is not easy to get used to. However, Turkish people and Turkey are tolerant and easily adaptable. We want you to learn Turkish well. You should learn not only to speak but also to write well. Moreover, you should care about your lessons. You should have high GPAs. I hope you will be very successful. We organize International Student Academy to let you get to know about Turkey, Turkish culture and its internal and external policies. Make sure you join them. Study very well so that we can proudly travel to the countries you come from. The doors of YTB will always be open to you.”
